Not much after I wrote my previous entry, mentioning Nicola Bulley and the search for her, than they announced yesterday that they found a body in the River Wyre which has been subsequently identified as her.

I don't really mention current news events as much as I used to...  My hardcopy journal is full of the news, via clippings I put in from newspapers I sometimes get.  I am very interested in the events around the world... but don't often find time to mention them much in this Livejournal.  I think maybe I'll have more time during my train holiday to ( Read more... )

Well... The Prime Minister Theresa May has called for a snap general election which will take place in early June. I love elections, so for me it's all good. (BTW, there's a council election coming very soon too ( Read more... )
